NoMo vs iPhone motion cues

Yes, iPhone has motion cues.
Here’s why NoMo exists.

A straightforward comparison for anyone deciding whether the built-in feature already meets their needs.

Start with the option
that fits you.

Apple’s feature is a useful built-in starting point. NoMo is for passengers who want other cue styles and a dedicated set of ride tools.

Checked October 22, 2026. Apple features vary by device and iOS version. NoMo details refer to version 1.2.8.

When the built-in feature may be enough.

If system-level dots suit you, you may already have what you need. On a supported iPhone, open Settings → Accessibility → Motion → Vehicle Motion Cues. See Apple’s current setup and appearance instructions.

Apple also offers appearance adjustments. Customization alone is not exclusive to NoMo.

When to explore NoMo.

Consider NoMo if you want to try Lines or Frame instead of dots, prefer a separate floating cue window, or want Comfort Audio and ride feedback in one place. Those are feature differences, not proof of greater medical effectiveness.
